Tam Thanh is a village of fishermen in 2016 changed forever, thanks to a project between artists and vietnamese koreanos that they decided to make this village a canvas on which to depict his art, often showing scenes from the daily life of the local population.

The murals are colorful, surprising , and often endearing. in Addition to these murals, that have put this village on the map, Tam Thanh has a lot to offer: a long-beach beautiful and clean, the opportunity to eat seafood at reasonable prices in front of the sea, and discover first-hand what life is like in a village seafood from the centre of Vietnam.
In Tam Thanh, along the village, the beach stretches to the horizon, and it’s a perfect place to swim and enjoy the rides in the summer. On the beach you can see small boats of wood, which the fishermen used daily to go to sea. When I was, I remember that I saw some fishermen drawing in their nets.
What more visit near Tam Thanh?
In addition to the village, its murals and its beaches, the regiónd of Tam Ky has some places quite interesting that you can easily spend a whole day (visit on a motorbike or taxi).
- The historic towers champa Chien Dan (these lands for hundreds of years belonged to the kingdom champa, the style of their buildings reminiscent of the one in Siem Reap in Cambodia).
- The lake Phu Ninh, for a boat ride and enjoy a bath feet with thermal water underground.

Where to stay?
I think it can be a success to stay in one of the homestays in the area, many of them facing the sea (take a look to the prices in Booking.com). In this way, you will be very close to the beach, you’ll be able to enjoy walks along the seaside or sit down in one of the beach bars along this area to eat seafood, in addition to ease of to stand in any of the places mentioned in this article without much difficulty (on a bike or taxi).
