However, in the big cities like Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city, it is possible to find tobacco roll-your-own in some points of the city, usually near the tourist areas and frequented by foreign travelers.

As a warning, I commented that the tobacco roll is surprisingly expensive in Vietnam, for to be rare and of import. That’s why, if you’re going to be in Vietnam only a few weeks, you may want to buy it in the duty free at the airport before you leave your country or consume tobacco in packs, much cheaper and accessible in Vietnam.

Disclaimer

More than three years ago I quit smoking and, honestly, has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I feel so much better physically and mentally, and I encourage everyone to take that step when you are ready. This article is not intended to encourage the consumption of tobacco, but simply to answer a question that I have done on several occasions. I have decided to leave this little recourse because I understand that, in some cases, this information may be useful to those who are passing through Vietnam and still have not stopped the habit.
