In Vietnam it is not easy to find tobacco in roll, as the majority of smokers vietnamese opt for the tobacco industrial, with brands such as Malrboro. This type of tobacco is the most common and is available in almost any store or supermarket.

However, in the big cities like Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city, it is possible to find tobacco roll-your-own in some points of the city, usually near the tourist areas and frequented by foreign travelers.

As a warning, I commented that the tobacco roll is surprisingly expensive in Vietnam, for to be rare and of import. That’s why, if you’re going to be in Vietnam only a few weeks, you may want to buy it in the duty free at the airport before you leave your country or consume tobacco in packs, much cheaper and accessible in Vietnam.
